Putting the plan into action

Once your new print set up has been designed and agreed, we will appoint a dedicated Project Manager to work with you to ensure a smooth and seamless transition.

Working with you, we will:

  • Co-ordinate all Bytes activities relating to the project.
  • Work with your Project Managers to ensure there is joined up planning between both parties.
  • Produce a full project document containing:
    • Project Plan
    • Key dates tracker
    • Action register
    • Key contact details
    • Version control
  • Manage a risk and issue tracker against all project tasks and escalate delays which may affect the timings as appropriate.
  • Provide regular updates and reporting.
  • Organise regular project review meetings or conference calls as appropriate.

The Bytes Project Manager will also co-ordinate relevant training for your users; super-users; helpdesk; and IT staff as necersary.

Training will be provided as part of the roll out process for each location ensuring it is appropriate for the end-user.

Training will include printing (printer driver), copying, faxing and scan-to-email (as appropriate).

We will also train the relevant people how to install paper and consumables, remove paper jams and other basic issue resolutions.

More in depth user training will be given to super users/print champions.

Extra attention will be paid to training on ‘smart kits’, removing paper jams and other basic issue resolutions.

We will provide training to helpdesk staff to enable them to support users on the newly installed Xerox equipment, print drivers and pro-active software. We will ensure training provided is at an appropriate level.

We will provide appropriate training for reprographic staff across all print engines, (including basic service) EFI systems and finishing equipment.

A training plan will be agreed as part of the project plan to deliver training based on your requirements, devices and user profile when you need it.

We will also provide you with ‘How to Guides’, ‘Frequently Asked Questions’ and other general information regarding your Xerox equipment.
