Part of our commitment to our customers is to ensure that we are always providing them with access to education, insight and industry leading news in the world of software licensing and software services. We consider this to be a key service to customers, and very much part of our ethos as a business.

Bytes recognise that our customers often have to wade through a vast amount of software related information coming from all areas – be they vendor led product announcements, training course offerings, or invitations to events and seminars. We therefore strive to filter through that information on behalf of our customers, developing either Bytes independent events and training offerings, ensuring that we make you aware of what we consider to be the most compelling industry events.

The Licensing Academy

The Licensing AcademyThe Bytes Licensing Academy has been developed by our highly experienced Learning Solutions division. The Academy is a completely unique set of training courses developed for our customers. Using our wealth of experience in software licensing and software asset management, we have developed these half day training sessions to educate you about the latest licensing programmes and software asset management practices. We also run speciality Academy sessions – tailored for your organisation, by specific vendors or equally around specific licensing contracts in particular vertical sectors.

Complimentary Services

Whilst of course we strive to offer all these Services as some level to all of our customers, we have developed our service offering "upstep" path to help you understand how you can be making even better use of your engagement with Bytes. Primarily these are value-added services, that we've documented to ensure that you are taking advantage of all we have to offer!

Seminar Offerings

We offer a range of seminars for our customers throughout the year, driven by, and hosted by ourselves, so that you can be sure that you are receiving a "real world" view on the key software technology issues. We also work closely with our partner eco-system who frequently support us with these events and vendors to provide our customers with the opportunity to discuss the issues with a wide range of industry experts.

Our SAM Quarterly Briefings are a new initiative that we are offering to our customers – every quarter we will publicise the subject area, and bring industry leading speakers to discuss some of the key developments in the field of software asset management. If you'd like to be added to the quarterly newsletter to keep informed of these events, please speak to your Account Manager.

Portal

The Bytes Online Portal has also been developed with our "inform" ethos in mind. The Portal features a Newsfeed, ensuring that all of our customers who are registered on the Portal and utilising the Portal services are kept up to date with news from vendors and from Bytes about key events and alterations to business critical situations – for example, major changes in vendor licensing contracts, and alert notifications surrounding your key contracts. However the Newsfeed can also be tailored to customer requirements – so you can choose the information that we share with you.

Vendor Marketing

Bytes are very conscious of the plethora of information that streams from all number of vendors and other organisations in the industry. As such we consider it part of our service offering to ensure our customers are informed of only the most pertinent stories. Our Account Management team are always trained well in advance of the marketing that we deliver to you, to ensure that we can always help with any questions you have as a result of receiving communications from us.

Vendor Event Offerings

We will always strive to ensure that our customers are aware of the best of breed vendor led events that are taking place in the industry. So in addition to the events that we run ourselves, we also work very closely with our vendors to ensure that we are aware well in advance of any major events that might be of interest to our customers. As far as possible we try to be selective in the events that we publicise to you – typically promoting events that are either particularly compelling to our customers or specifically relevant to your organisation and environment. We also frequently support our customers in attending some of the leading industry events and invariably your account manager will attend with you should you wish.
