The Bytes Portal Service Desk is extremely easy to use. The Service Desk helps you manage all your communications with Bytes sales and operation teams. You can log enquires and requests online, which will go to your nominated contact within Bytes.

Online Ordering
The Bytes Portal has excellent purchasing capabilities; the Portal can be easily customised to suit the needs of your organisation integrating smoothly with the way you do business.
There are customisable module views and access rights meaning that portal components can be included/ excluded for specific users. For example, we can switch on and off features such as price list view, the quote generator, order placement and news to tailor the user experience.
Quotes can be saved for any amount of time and easily converted into an order. Saved quotes and placed orders are instantly accessible for easy repeat ordering. The price list catalogue can be exported via excel or email for internal distribution. Benefits are accurate, quick, efficient, easy and makes for easier administration meaning reduced procurement costs.
Contract and Maintenance Management
We are specialised in assisting our customers in reducing the headache of managing software licensing renewals. We have developed automated systems to help the renewal process and our account teams focus on obtaining the best renewal deals. The Bytes Portal automatically sends reminders to any given relevant personnel giving the 90, 60 and 30 days notice until the renewal is due. We also use renewals as an opportunity to renegotiate with vendors to lower the renewal pricing for support/ maintenance and additional licenses.
At a glance our customers can view any contracts and maintenance items that are due for renewal. We use a traffic light flag system that indicates the urgency of the renewal. Our customers also have the ability to upload/ enter their own contracts, and set their own reminders.
News
The Bytes Portal has a section on the homepage for news. Information that appears here will cover industry specific news items, promos and special events hosted by Bytes. In addition to the items posted by Bytes, highlighting general news and events, there is also a feature where customers can post their own news items exclusively to portal users from their own organisation.
