Explore services provide organisations with clarity at a point in time of what software assets are owned, whether these be through volume agreements or individual shrink-wrapped products, and what software is installed across the IT estate.
Explore services include:
- Inventory Reporting. Technologies as well as consultancy to discover software titles installed and how they have been configured across desktop, laptop, server, midrange and mainframe estates. Bytes can also import data from existing systems such as SCCM, Altiris, LanDesk and others, and prepare regular management reports of the profile and changes to the IT estate.
- Entitlement Statement. Collation of software contracts and license evidence from boxed, shrink-wrapped, products to prepare a statement of what is actually owned by the organisation. This scope of work can also include gathering of license details into a contract or license management system.
