Hacking Xposed!

Do you know how hackers get in, or what they do once they have infiltrated a network? Jamie Woodruff does – he’s had first-hand experience! This well-known (4.6m social followers) ‘ethical hacker’ has broken into some of the world’s most secure infrastructures using social engineering methods. It’s his job to understand where the weaknesses exist and now advises on personal and corporate security.

Jamie will be joined be leading security solution providers CrowdStrike and Mimecast.

CrowdStrike is revolutionising endpoint protection by being the first and only solution to unify next-generation AV, a 24/7 managed hunting service and endpoint detection and response (EDR), all delivered via a single lightweight agent. And Mimecast brings advanced security via a set of cloud services that defend against email-borne impersonation attempts, malicious URLs and unknown malware attachments, threats that are internal to the organisation, as well as spam and viruses.

A first-class lesson on stopping breaches. Speakers include:

Jamie Woodruff - Director, Metrix Cloud - The evolution of hacking and corporate security
Zeki Turedi – Cyber Security, CrowdStrike – Unified next-gen AV, managed hunting service & EDR
Johan Dreyer – Security Engineering Director, Mimecast – Advanced security and cloud services
Simon Walker - Managed Services Specialist, Bytes Software Services - Disaster Recovery as a Service

Ransomware, Lateral Movement and Drive-By Attacks are three of the most common concerns facing the industry today, learn how you can stop these types of attacks before they start and what you can do to prevent a malware free intrusion.

Your place is completely free, includes lunch and you have the opportunity to explore the entire museum, the most significant surviving Second World War Royal Navy warship.
