With Microsoft support for Windows 2003 Server ending in July 2015 there are a large number of soon to be unsupported platforms, most likely to be running on old infrastructure. In order to move those servers to a supported platform, organisations are faced with a couple of options, none very popular or comfortable.

  1. Upgrade the operating system in situ on the old infrastructure. This may not be possible as the hardware or hypervisor may not support the new server platform.
  2. Rebuild the server from scratch on new infrastructure starting with a new operating system and re-installing the software and services that the original platform deliver.

What if there was a third option that could help avoid the pitfalls of the two main options? With PlateSpin Migrate from NetIQ, organisations can move their existing Windows 2003 servers onto new infrastructure whether physical or virtual. Join our free webinar at 2.30pm on Wednesday 18th February to hear how NetIQ PlateSpin Migrate can:
