ABOUT THE ROLE:

This is the opportunity to join a hardworking dynamic team within the ever-expanding successful Bytes family. This role sits within our Hybrid Infrastructure specialist sales business unit.

The focus of this sales targeted role is to take ownership and responsibility growing the AWS business at Bytes, acting as a commercial and subject matter expert. You will be supported by a diverse group, experienced sales team, technology specialists, pre-sales and delivery function. The role will involve taking ownership of public sector and growing our existing base as well as onboarding new customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pro-actively engage with Bytes Public Sector customer base to drive new AWS business to Bytes.
  • Responsible for the commercial creation and validation of opportunities as well as monitoring the deal to closure
  • Take ownership of Net-New license opportunity scoping within Public Sector Customers
  • Stay ahead of Technology, Products, Messaging and market landscape in specialist area
  • Encourage peer to peer exec engagement (AWS Sales Mgr to Bytes Sales Mgr) to build relationships, especially across Public Sector
  • Responsible for subject matter technology sales enablement
  • Engage Presales for Technical scoping and/or validation
  • Work closely with Bytes specialist teams on Tender Responses
  • Pro-actively engage with Bytes sales teams to find and work opportunities
  • Work closely with AWS to drive funding programmes into our customer base
  • Drive Bytes AWS services into Public Sector customers
  • Increase AWS marketplace spend through ISV partners

 

ABOUT YOU :

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum GCSEs (A-C) English & Mathematics

  • Knowledge of cloud platforms
  • Experience of selling software solutions

  • Customer facing experience

  • Vendor development management experience

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • Educated to A-Level Standard 
  • 2-3 years experience in a similar role
  • Experience in working directly with end users
