ABOUT THE ROLE:

This role will build an account base by driving the adoption of solutions and services from Bytes to a set of prospects, derived from the use of their own market knowledge, combined with tools and data made available by Bytes, including CRM, marketing events and externally provided data sets.

ABOUT YOU :

Individual responsibilities:

  • Drive expected GP yield from each account, to achieve annual goal
  • Maintain CRM data
  • Provide accurate forecasting of opportunities
  • Be the central point of contact for their client base into Bytes
  • Be the Bytes expert in their customer base
  • Ensure that personal awareness and ability to articulate Bytes products and services is maintained

Qualifications, skills & Experience:

  • 2+ years’ experience in the IT industry, preferably as an end-user salesperson for a reseller or vendor, though distribution roles will be considered
  • Evidence of continuous improvement through vendor or other recognised training essential
  • Educated to degree level desirable, but not essential
  • Inquisitive mindset and approach that facilitates understanding of the customer, their challenges, and objectives
  • Ability to build and maintains strong internal relationships to control resources across a virtual team and deliver a win/win outcome
  • Proactively builds high value relationships within customers, peers, and vendors
  • Ability to effectively articulate our core propositions to align to customer goals 
  • Operational proficiency to ensure high levels of customer service

  • Has a growth mindset to continually learn, adapt to and embrace change
