ABOUT THE ROLE:
This role will be responsible for maintaining and growing the Enterprise Networking Practice at Bytes, with a core focus on Cisco. The role will support Sales Teams in growing the customer yield in Enterprise Networking Solutions (focused on the Cisco Portfolio) – SD-WAN, Wireless, Connectivity and Smart Office Solutions. Using propensity data and white space analysis, you will assist Account Managers in developing opportunities with their customers, providing a central point of co-ordination for the wider Cisco and Enterprise Networks practice
Key Responsibilities:
- Pro-actively engage Sales teams/SMT in Enterprise and Managed Accounts in order to drive net new / cross sell business within Enterprise Networking (Cisco)
- Ensure Enterprise Networking (Cisco) messaging is delivered by Sales teams into Enterprise and managed accounts, activity monitoring the associated opportunity and participating in activity
- Responsible for the commercial creation and validation of opportunities as well as monitoring the deal to closure
- Support delivery of internal and external sales material relating Enterprise Networking (Cisco)
- Participate in the execution of Enterprise Networking (Cisco) marketing and internal messaging to support the delivery of customer solutions
- Support activities agreed on Enterprise Networking (Cisco) Business plans
- Engage VBMs in Vendor specific activities (onsite vendor days, sales enablement, existing customers)
- Stay ahead of Technology, Products, Messaging and market landscape in Enterprise Networking (Cisco)
- Encourage peer to peer vendor engagement to build relationships
- Participate in and support Enterprise Networking (Cisco) sales incentives
- Engage Presales/ partners for Technical scoping and/or validation
- Assist in gathering material for RFP, proposals and responses
- Have a handle of in month forecast and quarterly pipeline
Individual Responsibilities:
- Customer facing role: Must be self-motivated and confident to approach customers directly
- Although this is not a technical role, the individual must have an understanding of Cisco and/or a credible alternative technology stack
- Keep all pipeline activity up to date in CRM and work towards a rolling 12-month pipe
- Attend a minimum of 10 customer activities per week
- Have a handle of in month forecast and quarterly pipeline
- Attend key customer facing events and network to drive valuable conversations
- A good understanding of all Cisco portals and webex (including CCW, DIDs etc.), with a commercial awareness and the ability to identify & effectively communicate commercial opportunities
- Maintain CRM Engagements to allow cross-pillar/in pillar monitoring and access to customer activity related material/notes
- Maintain and keep up to date with relevant vendor certifications
- Attend regular reviews with team lead to ensure objectives are set and achieved
- Identify current market landscape and suggest new innovative technology/ services which can be considered as value to the business area
ABOUT YOU :

Educated to GCSE Level with minimum of A-C Grade in Math and English
