ABOUT THE ROLE:

This role will deliver a high quality of consultancy services to all Bytes customers.

Bytes are currently seeking an experienced Security Implementation Consultant to join their valued team of Consultants in delivering first class consultancy services to their customers. Bytes’ consultants are the lynchpin of our business and proud of delivering best in breed service to our customers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for entire consultancy lifecycle from pre-sales, scoping, project planning through to delivery.

Each consultant receives full support, training, and career progression in this challenging and varied role within a fun, dynamic team.

Your proven track record of delivering first class customer service will mean you play a vital role in ensuring our customers get maximum benefit from their infrastructure.  The successful candidate would play a pivotal role in keeping standards high and be rewarded accordingly

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure ongoing outstanding customer experience by delivering a well-planned implementation that is completed to the customer’s satisfaction
  • Full planning and installation of products / delivery of services
  • Supporting pre-sales with or on behalf of sales representative
  • Being a fully participative member of the SPARC Support team from time to time

Individual Responsibilities:

  • Physical installation of products
  • Creating and maintaining implementation and design documents
  • Project planning and management of implementation projects
  • Delivery of related technical services
  • Recommendations to sales and customer on provision of correct products/toolsets and services
  • Telephone support of products and toolsets as and when required

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ABOUT YOU :

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • Educated to GCSE Level with minimum of A-C Grade in Math and English

  • Check Point Certified Security Expert (CCSE)

  • 3 + years of experience installing and configuring Check Point Firewalls (R7x.xx AND R8x.xx) into customer sites

  • Solid understanding of networking technologies and network troubleshooting tools

  • Possess a thorough understanding of the Check Point Firewall and Endpoint suite

Desired Qualifications Experience:

  • Check Point Certified Security Master (CCSM)
  • 1+ years of technical design and implementation of Check Point CloudGuard firewalls in Public Cloud environments (Azure and AWS)
  • 1+ years of installing and configuring Check Point Endpoint product suite into customer sites
  • Experience of cloud infrastructure and solutions such as Azure and M365
  • Experience in deploying Forcepoint/Websense and be familiar with the V-series appliances, Cloud based and Hybrid service

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and capable of communicating with senior stakeholders across the business.
