Bytes Security Partnerships ’ agility in growing their Gemalto business in 2017, aligning sales, marketing and technical efforts to increase their mutual business, has been rewarded with the coveted accolade of “EMEA Partner of the Year 2017” at Gemalto’s European partner conference in Athens last week.
A longstanding partner of Gemalto authentication products under the ‘SafeNet’ banner, Bytes Security Partnerships (BSP) have made a real commitment in 2017 to expand their existing authentication sales success into Gemalto’s encryption and key management solutions.
This approach has paid dividends; with Bytes doubling revenue with Gemalto during 2017. They have also taken strong strides technically to place them in the best position to deliver Gemalto solutions to the market and continue this growth in 2018.
As well as sales performance and pipeline, the award indicates the investment Bytes have made in developing skills in consulting, training, licensing and technical support, as well as a defined, integrated launch plan for Gemalto encryption solutions on the marketing front.
“Bytes’ accelerated revenue growth and commitment to expand the range of Gemalto solutions with existing customers stood out. This award reflects the proactive nature of BSP in seeking opportunities for Gemalto, technical expertise and the strong and growing integration between the Bytes and Gemalto sales and technical teams,”
said Phil Holmes UK Channel Director at Gemalto.
John Gilbertson, Managing Director of Bytes Security Partnerships, accredits their Gemalto success to a concerted effort to align sales, marketing and technical efforts in communicating and delivering the core Gemalto proposition.
"Gemalto is a key partner to Bytes in 2018 and this award shows our clear commitment to delivering for our key partners. We are hungry to identify new opportunities for Gemalto. The Bytes team are proactive in introducing a good blend of Gemalto products to customers and actively seeing out prospects with complementary technologies who can benefit from Gemalto."
Bytes aim to continue this rate of growth to achieve Gemalto Platinum Partner status by the end of 2018, being first to market with upcoming Gemalto propositions such as Data Protection on Demand & aligning closer with the Gemalto Channel team.
