The launch comes at a time of unprecedented momentum in the cloud marketplace sector:
- According to the 2025 State of Cloud GTM Report by Tackle.io, marketplace revenue share is climbing faster than ever, with teams hiring aggressively to support Cloud GTM growth. The report projects a 60% average marketplace revenue growth, a 36% increase in co-sell deals, and a 37% rise in Cloud GTM team headcount in the coming year. Nearly a third of all revenue is expected to transact via marketplace next year, up from 20% to 32% of total revenue for many SaaS companies.
- 75% of respondents cite access to committed cloud provider spend as a major advantage, with improved deal acceleration and partner incentives also ranking highly. Co-selling with multiple clouds is now the norm, with 80% of organisations already co-selling with more than one hyperscaler or planning to do so soon. Amazon, Microsoft, and Google Cloud are the most popular partners for co-sell motions.
- The report notes, “Cloud marketplaces are no longer just a niche fulfilment channel; they are becoming a critical component of overall revenue strategies. This double-digit increase signals that cloud marketplaces are evolving from being a supplementary channel to a material driver of next year’s revenue targets.”
- Analyst forecasts from Canalys and Gartner reinforce this trend: cloud marketplace sales are expected to reach $50 billion by 2025 and $100 billion by 2026, with 80% of B2B sales interactions occurring in digital channels.
