Bytes Software Services commit to climate action with switch to renewable energy

We are delighted to announce our two-year contract with Haven Power, who will supply 100% renewable energy for Bytes Head Office. This major milestone marks another step towards our goal of carbon neutrality and demonstrates our commitment to climate action.
Haven Power (a subsidiary of Drax Group) provide renewable energy for UK businesses using a blend of wind, hydropower, bioenergy and photovoltaic power. It is estimated that our contract with them will deliver a highly significant carbon emission saving of 110 tonnes over two years.
Bytes aim to choose suppliers that share our beliefs. It is of vital importance to us that the organisations we work with have sustainability goals within their Corporate Social Responsibility policies. Haven Power is one such supplier and we are immensely proud to be working with them.

"We chose Haven Power for several reasons, the foremost being that they provide power from renewable sources. The electricity that we now use is 100% renewable and this is in-line with our targets and aspirations for Corporate Social Responsibility.
The other reason we chose Haven Power was because their tariff best suited our needs. We are on their 'Complete' tariff which fixes our energy costs for the duration of the contract. This gives us certainty over our energy spend, which is a really important factor for us.
