Important Adobe update for government customers

Wednesday 30th September 2020

Adobe has decided to End of Life (EOL) the Cumulative Licensing Plan (CLP) offering of Creative Cloud Desktop Apps (CCDA) for the government market segment. The last order date will be 5th October 2020. This follows the availability of Feature Restricted Licensing (FRL) in the Enterprise Term Licensing Agreement (ETLA) in October 2018 and in the Value Incentive Plan (VIP) in July 2019, providing a subscription-based alternative for government customers.

The last order date for the unpublished CCDA SKU's will be 30th November 2020. We recommend ordering by the last official order date of 5th October and only utilise the additional time (6th October – 30th November) of the unpublished SKUs for any outstanding quotes that absolutely cannot be moved to feature restricted licensing (FUR) or regular named user licensing (NUL).

  • The CLP CCDA SKUs have a “last order date” of 5th October 2020 to deter orders for new customers from that date onward.
  • Between 5th October 2020 and 30th November 2020, all CLP CCDA SKUs will be able to be ordered on a minimal basis to allow for active agreements in motion, quotes for extensions, and annual payments to be processed as needed. There should be very few renewals with these SKUs.
  • On 1st December 2020, the CLP CCDA SKUs will no longer be orderable.
