Microsoft Brings An End To Cloud Only Enterprise Agreements

Thursday 21st November 2024

On 12th November, as part of their modern commerce strategy, Microsoft announced major changes to how customers can purchase. Beginning in January, customers with cloud only Enterprise Agreements (EA) and Enterprise Subscription Agreements (EAS) will no longer be able to renew through the legacy Enterprise Agreement framework.

For enterprise customers, the Microsoft Customer Agreement for Enterprise (MCA-E), the digital evolution of the traditional EA, will provide the optimal, streamlined solution. MCA-E is designed for customers wanting a direct purchasing relationship with Microsoft or who prefer to manage their own per-user purchases. For Small, Medium, and Corporate customers, the options are the Cloud Solutions Provider (CSP) program or MCA-E. Customers seeking a value-added services and support experience through a partner such as Bytes should choose CSP. Bytes help you navigate these changes with confidence.

This is just the first of many announcements that Microsoft will be making regarding their commerce strategy
