The Citrix Auto-Renewal program: the new default

As the next step in their evolution to a subscription-driven business, Citrix has announced the launch of an Auto-Renewal program. This will drive alignment with the industry norms and best practices for renewable offerings.

The Citrix Auto-Renewal program is designed to drive value by providing benefits including uninterrupted access to Citrix Products and Customer Success Services, boosting renewal rates, and increasing on-time renewals.

The Citrix Auto-Renewal program will launch via a phased approach across Cloud subscriptions, on-premises, and perpetual licenses:

  • Auto-Renewal for Cloud subscriptions launched on 16th October 2019 and became the default renewal motion for Cloud subscriptions.
  • On 3rd February 2020, the Citrix Auto-Renewal program expanded and is the default renewal program for all on-premises subscription licenses.
  • Continuing the expansion, on 26th August 2020, the Citrix Auto-Renewal program will become the default renewal program for on-premises perpetual maintenance, Customer Success Services Priority Plus, and Customer Success Managed Services. Details regarding subsequent phases will be shared later.
