Get In Tune with Microsoft Intune and Sophos Mobile Security

Monday 5th November 2018

Microsoft Intune has become a popular tool for managing, provisioning, and configuring mobile devices, particularly when businesses are using Office 365. In many cases, Intune is included as part of an Office 365 license, so it's a no-brainer to adopt as the preferred Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) tool.

Sophos recognise that switching away from Intune is not a quick and easy task (or sales process), so they’ve adapted their technology to bring real value if you're running Microsoft Intune. You can now purchase Sophos Mobile Security separately and deploy it to all your mobile devices directly from within Intune.

Android and iOS devices can now be managed by Microsoft Intune and secured by Sophos Mobile Security. To make the deal even sweeter, Sophos Mobile Security on Android has been upgraded so it's powered by their deep learning technology, increasing malicious app detection rates and reducing false positives. They’ve also added network security to both Android and iOS, detecting potential malicious networks and Man-in-the-Middle attacks. To top it off, the settings for both Android and iOS can be controlled by an administrator from within Sophos Central, so if you already use Central, there's nothing new to learn.

Sophos Mobile Security can be trialled and configured from within Sophos Central and deployed from Microsoft Intune. It can also be deployed by other third-party EMM/UEM tools like Airwatch, Mobilelron, Meraki, and more.
