Introducing Microsoft Teams Advanced Communications

The new Advanced Communications add-on for Microsoft Teams is now available. The add-on SKUs can be purchased on top of any other Microsoft 365 suite that contains Microsoft Teams. Advanced Communications provides a new set of capabilities for large meetings, communication policies, and integrations, in addition to advanced tools for IT management.

The new Advanced Communications add-on SKU for Microsoft Teams ($12 per user/month) is built for those that have already embarked on their digital transformation journey, are actively using Teams, but want to enhance their meetings and calling experience.
Advanced Communications can be purchased on top of any other Microsoft 365 suite that contains Microsoft Teams and will provide a new set of capabilities for large meetings, communication policies and integrations, and advanced tools for IT management:
Scale your Teams meeting up to 20,000 participants. While the number of meeting participants increases, the quality of your meeting experience will not suffer. Meetings with more than 1,000 attendees will shift to a “view only” mode to ensure the speakers can easily manage the meeting.
Enhanced admin control. Design the meeting lobby look and feel with your customer’s branding, and then apply it to the core meeting experience when that capability is launched in the coming months. As a Teams certified solution partner, you can also help customers set up compliance recording policies and add collaboration to customer engagement workflows.
