Microsoft Announce Changes to Its Public Sector Discounts

Following negotiations between the Cabinet Office and Microsoft, better discounts have been announced that will reduce the cost of purchasing Microsoft software for Public Sector organisations.In Summary the changes are:• Select Agreement has an extra 5% discount from January 2012• New Perpetual Enterprise Agreements have an extra 15% discount• New Enterprise Subscription Agreements have an extra 5% discount and remains the agreement with the highest discounts overall.With the new discounts in place it is worth engaging with your Bytes account manager to understand how you can benefit most from these.
