Microsoft Defender Advanced Threat Protection for Servers now available

Microsoft’s offer for endpoint protection on servers (on-premises and in Azure) has been through Azure Security Center Standard, costing $15 per Server Operating System Environment per month. In response to your needs Microsoft are now introducing a new Microsoft Defender ATP for Servers offer priced at just $5 per Server Operating System Environment per month.
Your Microsoft Defender ATP employees with a minimum number of 50 licenses can use the new Microsoft Defender ATP for Servers offer for server endpoint protection. For enhanced cloud workload protection for servers, Microsoft Defender ATP for Servers offer customers can upgrade to Azure Security Center Standard for an additional $10 per Server OSE per month and benefit from features like adaptive application controls, just in time virtual machine access, file integrity monitoring, and unified experience for protecting Azure resources and additional value such as future integration with Azure Arc.
There are no changes to Azure Security Standard currently. Azure Security Center Standard continues to provide an integrated user-experience to protect not just server virtual machine end-points but also the broad set of Azure resources including IoT, Azure Kubernetes Services (Preview), Azure Container Registry (Preview), Key Vault (Preview), App Services, SQL and Storage.
