Are you still running Windows 2008 workloads? Are you facing the challenge of a costly or resource-intensive upgrade project, or spending valuable budget on expensive extended support options?
Many organisations struggle with migrating their legacy applications due to tight dependencies on older, unsupported operating systems (OS), limited in-house expertise, and/or missing access to installation media or source code. Moreover, getting extended support for these applications does not resolve the inevitable end of support challenge.
What is it?
The AWS End-of-Support Migration Program (EMP) for Windows Server enables Bytes to migrate your legacy applications from Windows Server 2003, 2008, and 2008 R2 without any refactoring. The AWS EMP technology decouples the applications from the underlying OS, enabling Bytes to migrate your critical applications to a newer, supported version of Windows Server on AWS.
How can Bytes help?
Bytes Cloud Services are an Advanced Consulting Partner with a competency in Microsoft Workloads on AWS. We are the largest scale partner for Amazon in the UK and our ISO27001 certified consultancy practice leverages significant experience in Microsoft workloads, with a proven pedigree in building well-architected AWS environments to accelerate your journey into the cloud.
Where do I start?
If you are running Windows 2008 workloads today, Bytes can undertake a technical scoping call and workshop with a senior architect in order to understand the workloads in detail. As an Advanced Partner, Bytes can access the newly launched AWS funding program, enabling us to fully fund the migration from discovery through to implementation.
There is no simpler, more cost-effective way to migrate your 2008 applications! For more information, contact your Bytes account manager or email email@example.com.
