New Lync and Exchange Deployment Planning Services

Bytes' Partner, Parative, are now delivering the NEW E&LDPS Software Assurance Benefit which will enable them to deliver 1, 3, 5, 10 or 15-day engagements on Exchange 2010, Lync 2010 and Office365. You can choose one or more of the technologies (mix and match) and if you choose to take an engagement of 3 or more days, you will also receive a FREE 'Infrastructure Optimisation and Cloud Computing Assessment'.
What is it?
Parative are able to offer 1, 3, 5, 10 or 15 day planning sessions with customers who have Deployment Planning days available under their software assurance benefits. There are no additional costs to the client for us to deliver planning days, we are paid directly by Microsoft under thier partner programme.
What you can have?
You can choose Exchange 2010, Lync 2010 or Office365 as the technologies for the delivery days.
What can be delivered?
The idea around DPS is that Parative will give you a thorough understanding of the chosen technology and how this will fit within you organisation. If you have a migration that needs to take place (eg. from Lotus Notes, GroupWise or OCS) Parative can also cover these topics during the engagement so that you have a complete picture of how to deploy and migrate onto your new system.
What's the output?
At the end of the engagement you will get a detailed delivery plan for the chosen technology that will include all of the features discussed during their visit. This delivery plan works as the input to a project to install and pilot the technology in your environment. If you are in the process of migrating off of Lotus Notes or Groupwise and have already deployed Exchange, then Parative may be able to help you with the design of your migration.
NOTE: If you choose a 10 or 15 day engagement then a fully functioning 'Proof of Concept' lab can also be delivered along with full architectural design documents for your technology.
What if I want more days than I have available?
If you want an engagement package that is longer than the number of DPS days you have then Parative are happy to deliver extra days at a reduced daily rate £790 (Inclusive of travel, food and accommodation)
Can I mix and match technologies? Yes they can cover more than one technology during the engagement, but to get the most out of the days they find focusing on one product at a time more effective.
