G.Network is a leading full-fibre broadband provider in London, offering gigabit connectivity across the capital. With around 300 active employees, G.Network supports the city's digital infrastructure needs.
Challenge
G.Network were looking to facilitate the upgrade of approximately 330 devices from Windows 10 to Windows 11.
The main challenge was G.Network’s limited time and resources, which hindered cleanup, consolidation, and timely upgrades before the October 14th deadline.

The Bytes Solution
Intune Transformation for G.Network
Bytes initiated the engagement with G.Network by conducting an initial scoping call to thoroughly understand their objectives and specific requirements for the Intune Transformation project and Windows 11 upgrade. This session facilitated alignment between Bytes and G.Network regarding expectations and clearly defined the scope of work.
Subsequently, the IT Infrastructure Manager at G.Network provided access to their Microsoft 365 Tenant, enabling Bytes to commence the discovery phase. With access established, Bytes performed a comprehensive assessment of the existing Intune environment and compiled a detailed design document outlining the findings and offering tailored recommendations for improvement.
An on-site meeting was convened to review the proposed design and recommendations. Upon approval, Bytes advanced to the implementation stage, starting with a pilot deployment of the new configuration settings.
The pilot phase proved to be highly successful; Bytes upgraded all pilot devices to Windows 11 and deployed the new Intune policies without issue. Following this success, Bytes proceeded with a full deployment across the remaining estate—approximately 330 devices. This final phase was executed smoothly, resulting in all devices being upgraded to Windows 11 and the application of new security baselines, ensuring a consistent and secure configuration throughout the organisation.
