Increasing Data Protection Using Microsoft Security Solutions I Hollywood Bowl
Overview
Hollywood Bowl is a chain of 72 ten-pin bowling centres across the UK, offering bowling lanes, arcades and food and drink.
The engagement with Hollywood Bowl and Bytes Software Services was based on providing consultation focused on Microsoft data security products that was funded as a part of the Microsoft Data Security Envisioning Engagement. The objective of the project was to configure Microsoft data security solutions within the environment to provide visibility and security of data.
Challenge
Hollywood Bowl wanted to understand the value of the capabilities and functionality that they had access to with their current Microsoft 365 licenses without impacting users at this time.
As part of the engagement, a discovery session was first conducted to understand the business goals and any functionality that had already been implemented within Microsoft Purview. This was followed by the planning, configuration and testing of certain functionality within Microsoft Purview.

Bytes delivered a comprehensive consultancy programme, leveraging the Microsoft Data Security funding to provide a combination of sessions that planned, configured and implemented Microsoft Purview. As the aim of this engagement was to evaluate the capabilities whilst not impacting end users, the policies were all configured in simulation mode so that Hollywood Bowl could gather a realistic understanding of the impact of the policies.
